NSCA Show - Dallas, TX

NSCA Show-Dallas TX-Our Electro-Voice Rep Wally Wilson (left) shows Danny Freeman (right) the wall of EV Microphones. Wally is an extremely knowledgeable and helpful rep. We really like the new EV wireless NRU series, which features a 10-channel frequency-agile, ClearScan system and the new Polar-Choice podium microphones for installations.

This is part of the world famous EV line array system used by the Stones on their current tour. EV is constantly updating these, making the array in different sizes for stadiums, festivals, and smaller venues. We are proud to be Authorized Dealers of the Electro-Voice Line!

Above are the Electro-Voice EVID C8.2 and the C4.2 ceiling speakers. We have used these on installs and would like to report- THEY SOUND GREAT! The 4.2 is a compact wonder that will handle 50 watts. The C8.2 is a powerhouse handling up to 150 watts! We recommend the EV CPS1 amp to drive these.

The new Aviom personal monitor mixing system as introduced at the NSCA show in Dallas, TX.
This system is ideal for Churches with Praise bands. This will allow the overall mix to be lower by creating a lower stage volume. Each musician can mix his or her own monitor mix! A genius of an invention, this system will power several mix positions with a personal 16-channel monitor mix.

A close-up of the A-16 personal monitor mixer. You can use headphones with the A-16, wireless earbuds, or the traditional floor wedge. Our Rep, Edward Frebowitz recently held a demo at our Preferred Customer Sale in March. Ed is a super knowledgeable soundman whom used to tour with Clair Brothers Sound.

Johnny Vaughn at the Da-Lite Screen booth at the NSCA show. We spec and install screens for Churches, Schools, and Clubs for use with all types of video! Johnny Vaughn and Ken Huddleston recently attended a seminar sponsored by Da-Lite on choosing the correct type, size, and placement of video screens.

The new projector lift by Draper Systems. This mount will hide your projector in the ceiling to keep it safe. Draper makes a full line of projector mounts, screens, wall plates, etc.

Who said all trade shows was hard work? Ken Huddleston (left) with Danny Freeman (right) at Coors Field in Denver CO at the NSCA show. A nice fan-friendly stadium with a killer sound system. Not pictured is Johnny Vaughn who had a prior commitment with a factory rep.

The
KK's Music Crew traveled to Frankfurt, Germany to attend the world-wide
Musik Messe show around the first part of March 2001. The event is
close to our American NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants)
except much larger! Ten LARGE Halls awaited us in Germany to check
out new gear from keyboards, guitars, drums, computers, software,
sound systems, amps, etc. As this was our first trip to Europe, it
was truly a learning experience. We stayed with our good friends the
William's in Germany. John has been a friend, supporter, and mentor
of KK's Music since the early days. Our contacts with the music industry
continue to grow which is important for our customers. We truly have
access to products all over the world! We hope you enjoy a few of
the photos!

John is playing a set of Roland Digital Drums. We are Authorized
Dealers of Roland Digital Drums, Keyboards, Effects, and more! We
highly recommend digital drums for Churches with Praise Bands. The
drums are easy to mix with the house mix, they have no stage volume
(unless you use a drum monitor), they never have to be tuned!, they
instantly sound perfect, and YES they sound like real drums. The
new digital series Roland is making offers several options such
as sequencing, tons of programmable sounds, recording features,
loops, and more options than we can list! We try to keep these in
stock; Check em out!

A little slice of the German Culture for our Southern Customers
and Friends. This old fellow had it "going on" As he drank
his German Pilsner (check it out to his right) he was studying a
book about Conn Trumpets. I hope he doesn't mind KK's using his
photo without permission.

Above (l) Ken Huddleston of KK's Music with Henry Juszkiewicz CEO
of Gibson Instruments. It was a real treat to meet Mr. Juszkiewicz…he
was genuine and friendly! I believe he was as surprised as us to
see a fellow Tennesseean in Germany!

The real BOSS of KK's Music! My wife and I share a very cold moment
on a canal in Amsterdam, Holland.
